In 2004 I became fascinated with art, I began with just drawing and in 2013 I began to paint.  My art style is contemporary and cultural.

I don’t have a specific study that I portray in my Art.  I paint what inspires me in the moment, which in most part; it’s the multitude of beauty and color that lives through my people.  Puerto Ricans are of three ethnicities, Taino Arawak Indian, African and European (Spain).  I embrace who I am and my culture and I portray that in my art, color has no boundaries.

I will always thrive to be known as a great mother, wife, daughter and sister and to be recognized for the love and passion I have for Art and Poetry.

So many times, we as Puerto Rican women/Latinas are told "you don't look Puerto Rican/Latina, you look black or Indian or Italian, etc. What many fail to understand is that we are a beautiful mix of Taino Arawak Indian, African and European, so yes many of us look black or Indian or Italian etc., but we are 100% Puerto Rican/Latina/Latino. My flag doesn't identify me, although she is a beautiful flag and I fly her with pride, she does not identify me. My heritage, my culture, my lineage and who I am identifies me. I try my best to capture that in my paintings.
